According to the New ID Renewal Act, Clause 8, a digital color, front upper body photo taken within six months of renewal is required. Digital photos should be taken after receiving the ID renewal notice and the renewal schedule is set by the Household Registration Office in your area in order to meet the criteria of within the period of six months.
